Hire me to deliver comprehensive Sexual Health curriculum objectives outlined in the BC and NS Health Curriculum and the Canadian Guidelines for Sexual Health Education. My foundation and training is both formal and experiential, having obtained my certification through the renowned Options for Sexual Health, and working directly with students and teachers throughout School District 64. My fees reflect the industry standards and depend on the type of option we tailor to suit your needs. I am a certified BC Educator with a Masters in Counselling Psychology, and am a graduate of the Options for Sexual Health two year Sexual Health Educator Certification Program--the reputable gold standard for SHE in Canada. I have been delivering Sexual Health Education for students K-12 since 2002, completing my Options for Sexual Health Certification in 2016. Additionally, I have been providing seminars, Pro D, consultation, and workshops for teachers, EAs and support staff, administration, private schools, parent groups, home school folks, and organisations since Sept. 2016.

In May of 2025, I relocated to Halifax, NS, to create Elephant In the Room, where I could practice therapy, offer sexual health education and support leadership in education in a new capacity. My intention continues to be not only to support children, youth, and families, but also organisations and professionals with unique programming that is collaboratively designed to suit the needs of each community. I combine my expertise in therapy, education, and child and youth development to create fun and interactive learning for participants of my workshops.

I am not new to the work, but have taken the giant leap from my career as a full time teacher/counsellor with specialty side- and summer-hustles, to one where I can be the director of my creative ideas and have more autonomy in my work. I am better able to support teachers and students from a this angle. My professional and personal experiences-- both positive and painful--have helped me become more insightful, resourced, and hopefully wiser, while never losing my sense of humour, allowing me to better help you meet your own programming goals.
